Post Covid-19 events: Predictions and advice

Post COVID-19 events are going to be extremely popular after June 21st if all government plans go smoothly.

Marquees are going to be in great demand. As we all know COVID-19 has meant that people haven’t been able to hold parties, large gathering and wedding receptions. Corporate events, conferences and exhibitions have also been on hold.

With events that were meant to happen last year filling a lot of slots of many suppliers, there are fewer booking slots available with events suppliers and this is also including marquee hire companies.


With the combining unfortunate fact that a lot of event companies have not been able to survive the pandemic, this means there’s likely to be greater demand, less suppliers and less availability, in particular for the year’s most popular event dates. 

If you are hoping to book a date for an event give yourself the best possible chance to avoid disappointment by following points:

  • Book Early - Sounds obvious, but so many people will wait until the last possible moment!

  • Get a quote - Once you’ve been in touch and have received an initial quote, most suppliers will be happy to offer you a provisional reservation

  • Make sure all your suppliers are booked - Just booking the venue won’t be enough. Post COVID-19 events suppliers are expecting to be in high demand. You’ll need to reserve make sure your entertainment, caterers, florist etc are all booked.

  • Let us help you - You don’t have to do all the hard work a lot of your suppliers like us will help you with the set up and make sure your whole event goes smoothly.

  • Get your invitations out quickly - A lot of people are going to have the same idea, this summer so don’t miss out on having your favourite people there, get those invites out sharpish.
